Cheryl Peterson is truly a blessing to The Community Food Pantry and Outreach of Murrieta. Her nonprofit organizational expertise and education has increased our nonprofit funding and understanding of good nonprofit agency fiscal management. Her personal attention to her clients and what they are trying to do and whom they are serving is outstanding. We are truly grateful for all she has accomplished for our organization.
Cheryl educated The Rotary Club of Temecula teaching us that working a program that delivered senior food boxes regularly rather than periodically, would be more impactful to the community and garner our nonprofit organization bigger grants, funding and donor support. Her expertise tripled our funding this year so that we served more than 2,103 people in our community. She is a true professional with a wealth of knowledge and proven record of getting results.
As the Executive Director of a small growing non-profit I was looking for a Grant Writer with experience in taking an organization to the next level. In finding Cheryl Peterson, I found someone who understood how to guide my organization through that journey.
I cannot say enough about how the work of Cheryl Peterson has helped propel PROJECT TOUCH to another level and granted us the ability to help so many more people than we would’ve without her! Her Extraordinary work ethic, combined with her patient and gentle natured demeanor makes her an absolute joy to work with… We cannot praise her enough or thank her enough for all she has done to help us help others in need.
Cheryl Peterson has been an integral part of the success of the Veterans of Foreign Wars California Motorcycle Clubs (VFW CA MC) for years! Our mission is to assist veterans and seniors in a variety of fashions with programs tailored to their unique needs. Prior to discovering Cheryl and her Non Profit Growth and Grants organization, we considered ourselves fortunate if we were able to assist a dozen members a month. With her guidance and mentoring, we now provide over 1800 meals a month and we have created several signature programs that not only impact the lives of both veterans and seniors throughout Southern California on a monthly basis but also earn the recognition of community leaders at all levels of government. Because of Cheryl's laser-like focus and expertise, we now receive funding from a wide variety of sources, including local and county governments as well as business, both large and small. With the recent pandemic, her advice has proven to be invaluable in maintaining the service we provide to veteran and senior communities throughout Southern California.
I have worked with Cheryl Peterson for grant writing services since 2015. Cheryl has proven to be a very valuable member of our Fund Development team. She is honest, direct and to the point, knowledgeable and current about grant opportunities and requirements. She is very reliable and uses her knowledge and skills to effectively respond to all grant application and reporting requirements. She is a team player, fosters positive discussions and change, with a purpose of securing additional grant funding so that Assistance League of Temecula Valley can better serve those in need.
